Cebu's warmest greetings and gracious hearts welcomed two of the country's promising companies in the grand station launch of TV5 Cebu last June 25.
Coincided with the different program launch and showcase held by the network's home-grown personalities and talents, TV5 partnered with the leading premier eye and vision health provider, George Optical , in a medical mission extending assistance to the residents of Brgy. Sambag Uno, Cebu City and nearby communities.
A George Mother's Day Gift
George Optical joined TV5's Alagang Kapatid in providing free medical assistance to the residents of Vergel St., Pasay City last April 28 as part of the two companies' Mother's Day Thanksgiving celebration.

George Optical introduces its G.O. Green Campaign—a project intending to instill in the general public further awareness on the concept of environmental preservation through recycling.
The G.O. Green Campaign started last April 1, 2010, which encourages eyeglass wearers to support the environment and aid the less fortunate by helping recycle old frames. In light of this, recycling efforts will benefit the Missionaries of Charity (Home of Joy), the charity patients of the Ophthalmology Division of the Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Ophthalmology Division of the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, and UNTV.
July 18 UNTV Medical Mission World Trade Center
George Optical is in active mode. Doctors from its practices were sent out to World Trade Center to take part in UNTV's anniversary medical mission. Hundreds of people stood in line and took the opportunity to be helped by the premiere optometrists and opthalmologists of George Optical. Nothing beats sharing what you have and George Optical is thrilled to have its GO GREEN spirit alive. Proceeds from donated frames were given to those who needed it most.
